ZOO Praha

Yesterday was Magdalena's first trip to the Zoo! The weather was perfect and, as our friend Kristyna (pictured) is leaving for college in Scotland, Project Antioch took a special outing so we could all have fun together before she leaves Saturday.

Here Magdalena was supposed to be looking at elephants, but she was too distracted by something in the grass to notice them!

And, yes, we did sing "Momma's taking us to the Zoo tomorrow" by Raffi. It's tradition!

Scroll down to read about the rest of our Zoo adventure.

Ah, we always loved the zoo, didn't we?! And singing the Raffi song. :) Magdalena's first visit seems to have been quite a success. Such a fun age, really interested in what she's seeing (including the grass--which is way more interesting that elephants! So much more colorful.). :)

Remember the time I was Elizabeth's partner at the zoo and I lost her? I guess she'll never let me live that one down.

Tell Kristyna "bye" and I'll miss her when we get there in October.

Yeah, I told the story of you losing Elizabeth to Kristyna when we heard an announcement over the intercom that a little girl was "waiting" for her parents at the Zoo restaurant. ;) She thought that it was quite funny!

What memories we have! :)

How did the high-chair-buying expedition go? You'll have to post pictures of her eating her dinner in it.

Enjoy Milan and Kveta's visit!
